Chile kicks off works on US$160mn hospital
Construction has started on the Marga Marga hospital in central Chile’s Valparaíso region, according to the health ministry.
The US$160mn project involves a 75,000m2 hospital complex. It will have 282 beds and nine operating theaters and is expected to benefit nearly 1mn residents of Villa Alemana, Olmué, Limache and Quilpué, the ministry said on Twitter.
Construction is being carried out by Acciona and is expected to take four years.
