CVRD Aims for 20% Growth

Rio de Janeiro-based mining-transport giant CVRD (Bovespa: VALE3) is aiming to maintain its 20%-22% growth rate next year, despite talk of world recession, Brazil's JB news agency quoted company president Roger Agnelli as saying. Its rail freight business is unaffected by the global financial crisis, Agnelli said, though he added: "It is clear that the crisis deserves attention, but it does not affect us directly."
