GTD posts losses in 2025 after restructuring and partial sale

Bnamericas

The Chilean group GTD reported losses in 2025, in a year of consolidation and restructuring of the company, following the sale of a stake in the data center business and the restructuring of group companies.

The company posted a loss of 6.838 billion (bn) pesos (US$7.7 million (mn)), attributed to higher depreciation and the restructuring process among its companies and subsidiaries, according to a statement.

"We closed 2025 with a solid financial base, which allows us to face this year with an ambition for growth and a focus on each customer, addressing the challenges ahead with innovation and excellence”, said GTD’s general manager, Fernando Gana.

Last year, Peruvian group Romero acquired 49% of the data center subsidiary GTData Holdco for a total of US$109.8mn. In addition, the company completed the incorporation of Telsur into GTD Manquehue.

GTD Group invested 78.962bn pesos in 2025 in implementing customer growth, planned infrastructure, capacity, strengthening and expansion of the network, and service platforms.

Regarding the investment plan, GTD maintains initiatives associated with the growth and strengthening of platforms and networks, as well as with new customer requirements in connectivity services. It is also moving forward with the expansion of Secure Soft’s operations to Mexico, where it built its fifth CyberSOC, which already has more than 50 clients.

GTData, meanwhile, plans to invest US$10mn in Chile and another US$15mn in Peru and Colombia in 2026.

The 2025 fiscal year ended with 5.5% growth in Ebitda and revenue. Revenue totaled 497.883 billion pesos and Ebitda reached 141.160 billion.

Revenue growth was driven by an 8% increase in the enterprise segment, mainly from information technology, cybersecurity, and connectivity services.

In addition, an extraordinary income was generated from the sale of copper resulting from the removal of cables.
