Ecuador extends roadworks tender deadline
Ecuador's transport and public works ministry (MTOP) has postponed a US$29mn tender to upgrade and carry out maintenance work on 180km of roads in the north-central region of the country, according to the UN Development Business website.
Bids, initially due on November 26, were postponed until January 13.
The project to improve the Tena-Capricho-Puyo-Puente Pastaza road will be financed by development bank IDB.
The five-year contract contemplates 12 months of road improvement work and 48 months of maintenance work.
