With respect to the news that have been published in different media, regarding the investigation that the Superintendency of Residential Public Services (Superservicios) initiated into Enel Colombia for the energy prices that it offers on the stock market, the Company is allowed to report that:

• The Company was notified of the investigation last Thursday, December 29, and is currently conducting an analysis of the statement of objections to provide an answer to the entity regarding the behavior of the prices offered by the Betania Hydroelectric Power Plant.

• Enel Colombia has been respectful of the law and regulation in each of the offers made in the energy market. The process of determining the offer prices of all its plants and in particular that of Betania considers, in addition to all current regulations, compliance with the rules established for the generation activity in search of a reliable, economical and safe operation.

Enel Colombia will make available to the Superintendence of Residential Public Services (Superservicios), all the information, documentation and evidence necessary to support the arguments that led to the decision to increase the price offer at the Betania Hydroelectric Power Plant.
