Enersis Issues US$100mn Bonds

Chilean electricity holding Enersis (NYSE: ENI) has successfully placed US$100mn bonds on the local market, which were mainly bought up by pension funds (AFPs), mutual funds, stockbrokers and banks. A second series of 21-year papers will be placed on December 3 on the local market, newspaper La Segunda reported, without mentioning what the amount of the second issue would be.
