The Dominican Electricity Transmission Company (ETED) commissioned the Bonao III substation at 345/230/138 kilovolts (kV), which will improve the quality of the energy supply offered to citizens and will expand the transport capacity of the electricity network. transmission, facilitating the installation of new generation projects.

This public-private alliance had the purpose of connecting the Quisqueya I and II generators, and optimizing the transmission service for the evacuation of energy from the eastern part of the country.
