Honduras issues calls to shore up power dispatch

Honduras’ state-owned power company Enee is seeking contractors and suppliers to shore up dispatch infrastructure.

One process is for the supply and installation of generation units, combined cycle system and substation equipment for the expansion of the thermo plants La Puerta and Ceiba.

Another call entails the acquisition of a generation unit for the project to install a mobile plant and modular substation at the Juticalpa II substation.

And a third tender is for the acquisition of service and equipment for substation control systems.

In related news, Enee reported that it and the Central American Bank for Economic Integration visited Morolica in Choluteca department ahead of planned feasibility studies for the Morolica II multi-purpose project.
