After a process of strengthening infrastructure, platforms and services, this Thursday, December 14, the Costa Rican Institute of Electricity (ICE) announced the evolution of its Data Centers, which will be renamed kosmös Hub – Hybrid Technology Services.
In this way, the Institute strengthens its service offering – which will have a change of image – to business clients. The news was shared this morning, during the raising of the Ecological Blue Flag , at the kosmös Hub , located east of the Metropolitan Area.
kosmös Hub enterprise customers have access to cloud connectivity and productivity redundancy, along with managed and cybersecurity services. The equipment is powered by renewable electricity and its maintenance does not require line outages at any time, with annual availability of 99.9%.
Among the main changes that ICE carried out, the strengthening of the Monitoring Operations Center also stands out. The improvement allows us to anticipate any incident, as well as the expansion of cloud solutions in the product portfolio.
“We went to the next level. The goal is for medium and large companies to focus on the nature of their activities, while our kosmös Hub ensures that their information and operations are continuous, secure and supported,” said Marco Acuña, president of ICE Group.
The kosmös Hub have TIER III certification, which guarantees the redundancy of their infrastructure, protected with alternative sources of electricity and cooling. The services are offered through kölbi Negocios and can be requested at 800-EMPRESA (800-3677372).
