IN BRIEF: Bolivia solar call sparks international interest

International firms have expressed interest in supervising construction and startup of Bolivian solar power plants Uyuni (60MW) and Yunchará (5MW).

The potential bidders include Barlovento from Spain, Paris-based Bureau Veritas, Brazil's Leme Engenharia and local company Gerimex, according to information from state generator Guaracachi.

Offers for the work – 14 months for Uyuni and eight for Yunchará – are due December 9.
