IN BRIEF: Norway cuts stake in Brazilian utility

Norges Bank, the central bank of Norway, has reduced its stake in Equatorial Energia to less than 5%, the Brazilian energy group said on Wednesday.

The bank sold 534,900 shares to cut its stake in the Rio de Janeiro-based company to 4.99% from 5.26%, according to a statement from Equatorial, which has power distribution stakes in Brazil's north, northeast and midwest.
