Junior corporate roundup: Mako, AIS, Candente Gold

Mako Mining plans to raise Cdn$27mn (US$20mn) in a rights offering to advance its San Albino gold project in Nicaragua.

Funds will be used to begin construction and for working capital associated with the development of the project, as well as ongoing exploration.

AIS Resources, which has lithium and manganese projects in Argentina and Peru, plans to raise Cdn$395,050 in an amended non-brokered private placement, to be used for general working capital.

Candente Gold, which has the El Oro gold project in Mexico, appointed Matthew Melnyk as a director.
