Junior exploration roundup: Tinka, Consolidated Zinc, Unigold
Vancouver-based Tinka Resources reported metallurgical test results at its Ayawilca zinc-indium-silver project in Peru.
Bench-scale metallurgical tests on ore from the property's West Ayawilca target registered zinc recoveries of 98% and similar indium recoveries, according to a statement. Test results enable the company to start work on its 2016-17 resource expansion drill program, Tinka said.

Australia's Consolidated Zinc updated exploration work at its Plomosas zinc-lead-silver project in Chihuahua, Mexico.
Diamond drilling has restarted with two drill rigs at the underground property's Level 7 and Tres Amigos areas, completing seven drill holes to date, the company said.
Drilling will continue through the rest of this year to build up a mineral inventory, Consolidated Zinc added.

Toronto-based Unigold published exploration results from its Neita gold-copper property in the Dominican Republic.
Highlights of diamond drilling at the property's Candelones Extension target included 21.2m of 6g/t gold and 0.9% copper, the company said in a statement. Unigold added it has completed 70% of its 2016 drill program to date.
