This is an automated translation of the original press release issued in Spanish
The Ministry of Transport and Communications, through Provías Nacional, called Public Tender No. 4-2022-MTC/20-1 for the "Construction of the Santa Rosa Bridge, accesses, roundabout and overpass, highway project access to Jorge Chavez International Airport. The reference value is S/ 348,203,734.12, which includes the construction of all project components.
The call is published on the platform of the Electronic State Procurement System (SEACE), of the Supervisory Body for State Procurement (OSCE): http://procesos.seace.gob.pe/seacebus-uiwd-pub/buscadorPublico /PublicBrowser.xhtml#
The executive director of Provías Nacional, Rufino Galindo, maintains that the concurrent monitoring, through the SEACE portal, reaffirms the expected transparency of this public call for the contracting process of this important infrastructure.
In accordance with the deadlines in accordance with the Law, consultations may be made to this process until November 25 of this year.
This project includes the construction of a 160-meter-long road bridge over the Rímac River and Av. Santa Rosa. It also considers a roundabout at the intersection with Av. Morales Duárez and the construction of entrance elevations from Av. Morales Duárez, which will allow vehicular and pedestrian access to the new Jorge Chávez Airport terminal.
It will have four lanes (two for each direction of traffic), lateral berms, road safety signs, among others. Under this road bridge, a lower overpass will be built, which will allow the flow of traffic at this intersection.
This road infrastructure will connect with the Santa Rosa Expressway project, of the elevated viaduct type, which starts from the Costanera road and connects with the Santa Rosa Bridge; the same one that is being executed through a State-to-State (G2G) contract between the Republics of Peru and France, which will improve the flow of vehicles to the airport.
Provías Nacional reaffirms its commitment to continue working with local and regional authorities so that road infrastructure projects are carried out in the country and that more Peruvians can access better transportation services.
