NEC signs contract to provide technological solution for São Paulo state department of finance and planning
This is a machine translation of NEC's press release
NEC signed a contract in the amount of R $6.8 million with the Secretary of Finance and Planning of the State of São Paulo for the supply of a Cisco branded firewall solution, consisting of hardware, software and their respective licenses, as well as the provision of continuous service of technical support, maintenance and technology updating. The system, which will be fundamental in terms of further strengthening the security of the Sefaz-SP networks, will be implemented at the Secretariat's headquarters in the capital of São Paulo and in the city of Campinas, in the countryside. The established agreement is valid for 15 months and was led by the agency's technology and administration coordination.
“This is the second Sefaz-SP tender that NEC is selected this year. In May, a contract was signed for the provision of service to update the agency's Call Manager and Contact Center telephone plan. For the company, it is very important to come out ahead in competitions like this, as it demonstrates that the portfolio is well structured and very competitive in the market”, says Milton de Ronchi Rodrigues Júnior, NEC's business director in Brazil.
