Nueva Renca gets ISO 14001

Chilean generator Essa's 379MW Nueva Renca combined cycle plant has secured ISO 14001 environmental certification from Det Norske Veritas, Essa parent AES Gener said in a statement Wednesday. Essa aims to secure the same certification for its Renca plant once it is converted to natural gas from diesel, the statement added.
