Brazil: Ocyan announces new company president

In replacement, Roberto Prisco Paraiso Ramos, currently a member of Ocyan's board of directors, will take over the company's management in 2023. Graduated in mechanical engineering from UFRJ, with a postgraduate degree in Management Development Program from Harvard Business School, in addition to master's degree from University of Leicester, in England, Ramos returns to the presidency of Ocyan, occupied by him between 2010 and 2014. Over the last 7 years, the executive has been contributing as an adviser to the company, being a member of the Finance committee and coordinator of the Strategy Committee and Innovation.

Ocyan is Novonor's arm in the oil and gas market. The company offers solutions for the entire exploration chain of the upstream offshore oil and gas industry in Brazil and abroad. It currently has five drilling rigs, two FPSOs (floating, production, storage and offloading) from its own fleet in the Altera&Ocyan joint venture (50/50), in addition to operating two other FPSOs.
