Paraguay: Installation complete of fixed parts in Aña Cuá

This EBY release was published using machine translation.
Within the framework of the machining works of the Aña Cuá Arm, the installation of the metal noses was completed, which are components of the set of fixed parts embedded in the concrete of the powerhouse for the three generating units.
The main function of each piece, after being embedded in reinforced concrete, is to protect the outlet of the suction tube, from the erosion that is generated as a product of the speed of the water as it flows to the restitution level of the Aña Cuá arm.
With the last two pieces, the installation of the 6 steel linings (9 tons each) for the three generating units (ACOI, AC02 and AC03) of the most important hydroelectric project executed by the Yacyretá Binational Entity was completed.
It is one of the most significant works at the end of the year, marking a sustained progress in terms of construction and assembly this 2022.
The 6 fixed parts were manufactured in Paraguay by the firm CIE SA, a company subcontracted by the German company VOITH HYDRO LTDA, awarded the contract for the execution of the electromechanical generation supply.
