
Paraguay receives 21 bids for works on neighborhood roads

A total of 21 bidders registered the “MOPC Call No. 129/2021. Construction of the section of route PY10 (Capiibary)- Sto. Domingo- Agricultural School – Sidepar- route PY13 (departments of San Pedro and Caaguazú) Ad Referendum to PGN 2022", ID N° 405.351.
This project includes the asphalt paving of 33.02 km and is divided into two lots, with an estimated general investment of G. 124,699,647,238, as part of the Neighborhood Roads Improvement Program II - Loan Contract No. 3600/OC-PR .
The lowest offer received for both lots is G. 83,173,070,493, which is 33% lower than the reference price of the call, while the highest price reached G. 135,825,384,104, being 8% higher than the estimate of bid.
The companies and consortiums that submitted their envelopes in this call were: CMM Consortium; Benito Roggio E. Sons ; SIDEPAR consortium; Ing. Hugo Navarro; CCCSA; CEP consortium; Mach Initiatives Consortium; Road Consortium 129; Constructora Tecnoedil SA ; Teco SRL ; Construction company Feldman SA.; Capiibary Consortium; TR Constructora SA ; Ing. Carlos Gueyraud; PROEL Engineering and Construction Company Acaray. So did Concrete Mix SA ; July 14 SA; TECSUL SAE ; CIVSA and Capiibary Road Consortium.
According to the Bidding Terms and Conditions (PBC), Lot 1 covers 17.6 km and the second 9.5 km, plus the 5.9 km stretch of Branch 13 to the First Line Branch, thus totaling 33.02 km.
Among the items to be executed are: clearing, clearing and cleaning, excavations, embankment, culverts, concrete-lined gutters, cemented granular sub-base, granular base, primer irrigation, league irrigation, asphalt concrete layer of 6 cm, shoulder, fencing, signs, porticos, plastering, construction of a 20-meter bridge (Lot 1), among others. All this within a period of 18 months for both sections.
