El Salvador's public works, transport, housing and urban development ministry is seeking a contractor to implement a technology platform that will manage capital San Salvador's public transport network.
The winning bidder will be required to develop and commission the system.
It will be used for the centralized operational control of the capital's public transport service, according to a tender notice published on the UN Development Business website.
The contract will have a duration of 540 days and bids must be submitted by October 17.
The IDB will finance the US$2.45mn contract as part of a loan to improve transport systems in the capital.
