Vialidad Nacional reports that, as of today, through Resolution 706/2026, the Minister of Economy of the Nation, Luis Caputo, has awarded the sections belonging to Stage II-A of the Federal Concessions Network, a system through which the private sector will carry out the operation and maintenance of the roadways without expenditures by the National Government.
This stage covers more than 1800 kilometers and includes the Southern Section - Atlantic - Southern Access, awarded to the bidding group made up of the companies CONCRET NOR S.A. - MARCALBA S.A. - POSE S.A. - COARCO S.A., and the Pampa Section, which was awarded to the company CONSTRUCCIONES ELECTROMECÁNICAS DEL OESTE S.A.
This stage consists of national routes located in the central region of the country, covering the provinces of Buenos Aires and La Pampa. In this regard, the aim is to improve connectivity and safety on key roads for logistics and productive trade.
National Roads will be the body responsible for supervising compliance with the contracts, which will have a duration of 20 years, through a results-based control scheme aimed at guaranteeing corridors in safe conditions and with adequate levels of service for users.
It should be remembered that this new model will be developed without subsidies from the public sector, leaving behind deficit-generating schemes and moving toward a more efficient system aimed at improving the quality of the national road network.
