The Mexican Mining Chamber (Camimex) believes that the review of the USMCA opens an opportunity to incorporate the issue of critical minerals into the trade agreement’s agenda and strengthen North America’s production chains. The president of the association, Pedro Rivero, told BNamericas that the sector is taking part in dialogue roundtables with Mexican authorities and that the United States and Canada have shown interest in discussing the supply of strategic minerals.
