Description: The Paraguay-Paraná project involves an international navigable waterway that can operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The project consists of two stretches. The first is from Tieté in Brazil, running along the Paraná river until it meets with the Paraguay river. The other stretch starts in Puerto de Cáceres, Brazil and runs along the Paraguay river as far as the Paraná river, which then flows into the La Plata river. The project includes improvements to ports along the waterway.
