Solarpack identifies 900MW in South America opportunities

Solarpack has identified opportunities in South America for 909MW, which the Madrid-based company sees as having a 10-30% probability of being completed.

Of that total, 440MW are in Chile, 351MW in Peru and 118MW in Colombia, according to a presentation from the solar energy developer.

Regional projects in the Spanish group’s pipeline (50% probability of being completed) reach 446MW in Chile and 250MW in Colombia, and regional projects in Solarpack’s backlog (90% probability of being completed) reach 22MW in Chile.

Solarpack’s global operating portfolio at end-December stood at 540MW (450MW attributable) with 181MW (153MW) in Chile, 157MW (139MW) in India, 139MW (129MW) in Spain and 63MW (28MW) in Peru.

The Chilean operating portfolio includes the 123MW Granja solar park (pictured), which is undergoing final interconnection tests.
