Telecom offers a new solution for "Unified Device Management" with IBM security technology

Buenos Aires - As part of the Telecom Live cycle, the company announced that it will offer an integrated solution for Unified Endpoint Management - Unified Device Management, which incorporates IBM MaaS360, an IBM security solution that allows companies to configure and protect corporate devices like smart phones, tablets, laptops and others. In addition to the capabilities of the product, Telecom FiberCorp chose IBM MaaS360 due to its cloud-based delivery platform that adapts to the needs of each business, offering optimal functionality and efficiency.
This solution allows companies to provide mobility to workers without compromising the security of a company's information, in addition to avoiding excessive consumption by controlling the functionalities and applications of the devices. With Unified Endpoint Management, companies can centrally manage a variety of mobile devices.
Some of its fundamental characteristics are the web access to the administration and self-management portal; control of the functionality of the device, applications and the use of mobile data; geolocation, current and historical location; security management and restrictions on the use of the device, among other functionalities.
This is the third IBM solution to join the portfolio of security products offered by Telecom FiberCorp, after the commercial agreement that was signed with IBM and which aims to continue promoting the launch of new products based on advanced technologies such as Security, Cloud , IoT and Artificial Intelligence, among others.
Last Thursday 15th, the presentation of this solution was made in the Telecom Live cycle. These online and live cycles, which are transmitted through the Telecom FiberCorp account on Linkedin, aim to share the latest news and new solutions that the company makes available to the corporate market; to help them with the digital transformation that companies need in this new context. The objective of the commercial agreement between Telecom FiberCorp and IBM is to take advantage of the technology and experience of both companies to develop best-in-class solutions. The collaboration will combine IBM technologies such as hybrid cloud, security, artificial intelligence with the infrastructure of Telecom FiberCorp's Data Centers, its Security Operations Center (SOC) and the Cybersecurity team, among other areas.
