Within the framework of his visit to the United Arab Emirates, on the occasion of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, accompanied by the Ambassador of Paraguay in that country, José Agüero Ávila, and officials from the Embassy and REDIEX, the Minister Luis Alberto Castiglioni held a working meeting with Mr. Kerry Adler, President and CEO of Skypower Global.
Skypower is one of the largest global producers of solar energy, specialized in joint work with government institutions, large infrastructure projects in the field and committed to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). The company has a major regional office in the United Arab Emirates.
The meeting discussed issues related to the conditions and potential of our country in terms of sustainable energy, as well as the necessary requirements for the company to make consistent investments in the installation of high-tech solar parks in our country.
Minister Castiglioni assumed the responsibility of taking the necessary steps to link Skypower Global with the National Electricity Administration (ANDE) in order to make the initiative viable.
