The Minister of the Interior, Wado de Pedro, together with the Governors of Chaco, Jorge Capitanich and of Formosa, Gildo Insfrán, as well as representatives of the Misiones delegation, agreed today in Washington with the Microsoft company to advance agreements to coordinate technological investments that allow expanding connectivity for the rural populations of these provinces, as well as promoting precision agriculture.

The agreement was finalized in the visit of the minister and the governors to the company's headquarters, an activity framed in the tour carried out by the Argentine delegation in the United States. There, Microsoft executives presented a digital equity initiative that facilitates access to broadband for communities far from large urban centers.

In this sense, the governor explained that this "means motorizing the provincial programs that are already being implemented."
