It will serve the neighborhoods of Antonio Nariño, Barrios Unidos, Suba, Engativá, Fontibón, Puente Aranda, Kennedy, Tunjuelito and Rafael Uribe, and feed into the planned line one of the Bogotá metro. I-t will reduce travel times for passengers by up to 50%. The line will run primarily along Carrera 68 Ave., connecting the South Highway (Autopista Sur) with the intersection of 100th St. and Carrera 7th Ave. The project is divided into 9 groups: From the Autopista Sur to Calle 18 Sur: 60 months of construction From Calle 18 Sur to Avenida Américas: 48 months of construction From Avenida Américas to Avenida Centenario (Calle 13): 48 months of construction From Avenida Centenario (Calle 13) to Avenida Esperanza (Calle 24): 48 months of construction From Avenida Esperanza (Calle 24) to Calle 46: 36 months of construction From Calle 46 to Avenida Calle 66: 48 months of construction From Avenida Calle 66 to Carrera 65: 60 months of construction From Carrera 65 to Carrera 48: 60 months of construction From Carrera 48 to Carrera 9: 48 months of construction
