It will be made up of the Raw Material Pre-treatment Unit and the Biodiesel Production Unit, which will consist of more than 131 pieces of equipment, including a pre-treatment nanoreactor and three special reactors. The raw material will be jatropha, soybean, totaí, cusi and macororo vegetable oils, among others that can be produced in the country, and will also allow the recycling of edible oils that homes and businesses usually throw away. The plant is part of the "Implementation of Biofuel Plants" project, which in the future will include the Biodiesel Plant 2 and HVO, with a total production of 12,000 barrels per day. It will be located in the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.
