Description: The project consists of the construction of a data center in Porto Alegre, state of Rio Grande do Sul, in southern Brazil, which will consume fully renewable energy and have a high energy efficiency index, in addition to reducing water consumption. This site, which is part of the HyperEdge family, has a configuration designed to meet the demand for connection and distributed computing (edge) of the large providers of content and cloud services. The center will be located in a region with a high population density and economic activity, being very close to the data capture points, which will allow the computational processing of various services and applications that require low latency, such as metaverse, internet of things (IoT), telemedicine, autonomous cars, among others. The estimate is to generate more than 200 direct and indirect jobs between the construction and operation of the data center.
