Description

The Peruvian coastal train project involves the design, financing, supply, construction, operation and maintenance of a railway line spanning 1,340km along the coast. The project would run parallel to the Panamericana Sur highway and comprise two separate stretches. The first stretch would connect Callao and Piura and the second stretch would connect Lurín and Ica. The railway would have a capacity to transport up to 57mn passengers a year.
