The project will utilize the unused railway easement rights, and will be able to operate 32 all-electric units in the corridor. The project is part of the "Va y Ven" transport system, it will have the benefits of a tram with the flexibility of a bus that will travel three routes: Kanasín-Centro, Umán-Centro and Centro-Faculty of Engineering. The use of 25 to 30 units is considered, which will be equipped with security systems for speed control, as well as optimization of operator management, USB chargers, WiFi, Braille buttons, real-time geolocator, information for the passenger and interior vinyls. The IE-TRAM will be accessible with its four sliding doors, low entrances, seating arrangement and interior layout with large circulation aisles, signage for seats reserved for wheelchairs, audible information on stop requests and technology for electronic collection.
