Description: La Palma Power Plant Power generation plants greater than 3 MW The Project submitted for evaluation consists of the construction and operation of a backup Power Plant with diesel engines, located in the Maule Region, to connect to the National Electric System (SEN). ), located in the Commune of San Javier, Province of Linares. This project will be carried out on private land, where access is 2 km from the city of San Javier and Route 5 South. Direct private access from the highway will be used to access the project area. The project includes the layout of 23 KV pipelines of approximately 150 meters for connection to CGE's S/E La Palma, connected to the SEN for energy supply. The Power Plant will have a declared power of 70 MW and will have 3 sets of generators called “Naves” of 23.3 MW each. Each ship will contain 16 generating sets of 1.5 MW of power each, which means that the total nominal power is 70 MW. The objective of the project is to execute the construction and operation of a 70 MW Power Generation Plant with generator sets, based on Diesel-Hydrogen fuel, located in the Commune of San Javier, intended to support the National Electric System (SEN), operate and supply electricity at its request, to maintain the stability of the System.
