New Camp Carén - El Teniente Division

Description: New Carén Camp - El Teniente Division Mining development projects over 5,000 tons / month The Project consists of the construction of a new camp for the Carén Reservoir, intended to provide accommodation and support services to partner companies and reservoir workers , replacing the existing facilities with ones of similar characteristics in a sector located one (1) km southwest of the existing camp, within the industrial area of the DET property. The construction of the camp includes the fitting out of dormitory buildings, services and offices, including sanitary and electrical installations, recreation areas, parking lots, among others. The total overnight capacity will amount to 650 users, distributed in eight (8) modular dormitory buildings, with two (2) floors each, totaling 650 available beds. The new facilities will be of the modular type, in accordance with the standards and specifications on design and construction established in Supreme Decree No. 47/1992 that approves the General Urban Planning and Construction Ordinance (OGUC), as well as those of a sanitary nature. contained in Supreme Decree No. 594/1999 that approves the Regulation on Basic Sanitary and Environmental Conditions in Workplaces. Based on the above, the main parts, works and / or actions contemplated by the Project correspond to: · Construction of a new camp, considering: o Dormitory buildings; I Service buildings, offices and complementary facilities. · Improvement of the access road and linear infrastructure. · Enabling a site facility. The objective of the Project is to build a new camp in the Carén Reservoir, replacing the existing facilities, allowing to increase the overnight capacity up to 650 workers, in order to provide a support facility for the construction of the various stages of elevation of the reservoir, which is part of the DET's production process, providing an accommodation service and support services to collaborating companies and workers for the construction of the remaining stages of superelevation of the main wall and operation of the reservoir (stage 8 to 12).
