The Oriental I and II nuclear reactors, which will require 331t of uranium, have been included in Mexico's energy ministry (Sener) electric power sector plan for 2013-2027. The reactors will be part of the Laguna Verde nuclear complex, the only nuclear energy generation plant in Mexico, in Veracruz state.
