Description: Rinconada de Alcones Power generating plants greater than 3 MW The Rinconada de Alcones Photovoltaic Project (hereinafter the Project) includes the construction and operation of a photovoltaic park with 9 MW of installed power, which will provide electricity to the Central Interconnected System (SIC ), which will be located on the Hijuela Sur or Santa Ema property, in the rural area of the Marchigüe commune, Cardenal Caro province, Libertador General Bernardo O'Higgins Region, and will occupy an area of approximately 24 ha. This park will be made up of 26,292 photovoltaic modules, which are divided into 3 groups, and each of these will have a maximum power of 3,000 kW to be injected, which will be connected to each inverter. The modules will be mounted on metallic structures with a horizontal solar tracker on one axis. The Project will be connected to the CGED networks, specifically to the Pichilemu 23 kV feeder which originates from the S/E Alcones. The energy will be evacuated through an electrical line made up of an underground section (65 m) and an aerial section (2,084 m), using a protected Aluminum conductor with a section of 185 mm2 and an XLPE Insulated Copper conductor with a section of 185 mm2, respectively, and connecting to post No. 5-211373. The objective of the Project is the generation of electrical energy through the use of technologies that employ sources of Non-Conventional Renewable Energy (NCRE), in particular, solar radiation. In this way, the operation of a photovoltaic park that will contribute 9 MW to the SIC is contemplated.
