It begins near the border with the state of Paraíba and covers land in the municipalities of Ipaumirim and Lavras da Mangabeira. The work will benefit 4.7 million people in 54 cities in the state. The initiative is part of the São Francisco River Integration Project with the North-Northeast Hydrographic Basins - PISF.
