Description: The Uyuni Photovoltaic Solar Plant is located in the municipality of Uyuni, Antonio Quijarro province, in the department of Potosí, at an altitude of 3,700 meters above sea level and 13 km from the town of Uyuni. The energy generated is injected directly into the National Energy System (SIN) through a line connected to the Uyuni Substation. The plant was built between 2017 and 2018 on land granted by the Autonomous Departmental Government of Potosí to ENDE Corporation. The granted land covers a total area of 180 hectares, of which 105 hectares have been covered by this project in its initial phase.
