Description

Enel Green Power Chile Ltda., formerly Enel Latin America Chile Ltda., is the local unit of Italian multinational Enel Green Power S.p.A. It is engaged in the construction and operation of renewable power generation plants. It currently operates a combined installed capacity of over 1.1GW of photovoltaic, hydroelectric and wind power plants. Through a joint venture with Chilean national oil company Enap, it built the first geothermal power plant in South America, the 48MW Cerro Pabellon plant, in the Atacama Desert. Enel Green Power Chile is headquartered in Santiago.
