BNDES opens public consultation on fintech partnerships
Brazil's state-run development bank BNDES has launched a public consultation to select technological solutions to be provided by fintechs, which would be integrated into its channel serving small companies.
The aim of the consultation is to evaluate technological solutions existing in the market for four types of services that BNDES wants to offer to smaller companies: financial education, credit analysis, matching of financial solutions and reverse credit auctions for financing, the bank announced in a statement.
The integration with the new tools aims at increasing the access of small entrepreneurs to Bank financing by improving the credit profile of MSMEs and helping them to professionalize their financial management
"The integration with new tools is aimed at increasing the access of small companies to bank financing by improving the credit profile of MSMEs and helping them to professionalize their financial management," the BNDES statement read.
Public consultations on the solutions will take place until March 15.
