BNamericas reported previously that the two groups had prequalified in the process, which was open to groups from Denmark as Danida Business Finance, which is part of the European country's foreign ministry, will provide financing.

The offers will be qualified in the coming weeks and followed by awarding, state news agency ABI quoted Ende administrative unit head Adolfo Pérez as saying.

For his part, Gerardo Borda, wind projects unit chief at Ende Corani, said the projects will take two years to complete once the work order is issued early next year, ABI reported.

Last week, Bolivia's senate approved financing for wind projects La Ventolera (24MW) and Warnes II (21MW).
