In Brief: Ecuador advances hydro portfolio

Ecuadoran state power generation holding company Celec's Enerjubones unit completed the water supply tunnel for the 275MW Minas San Francisco hydroelectric project, which spans the provinces of Azuay and El Oro.

The 13.9km tunnel runs along the bank of the Jubones river and has a design flow capacity of 65m3/second, Celec said in an update.
