South America-focused Orosur Mining reported new results from the ongoing step-out drill program at its high grade APTA deposit; one of five identified target areas in the Anzá gold project in Colombia.

There were notable results from 17 intercepts in seven drill holes.

Results from one hole include 5.32m grading 17.76 g/t gold, 1.55 g/t silver and 4.74% zinc.

Results from another hole include 13.9m grading 4.89 g/t gold, 4.86% g/t silver and 1.35% zinc.


Canada-based Glen Eagle Resources announced that gold mine Cobra Oro's operations in Honduras are running better than anticipated following its expansion program, which involved important readjustments for milling and rebalancing of its metallurgical circuit.

Cobra Oro has increased throughput 300% by processing around 60t/d. The company remains confident to see daily throughput at 80t/d by early March. More information on its Cobra Oro project can be accessed here.


Silver Bull Resources provided results of seven drill holes from its continued underground drill program targeting the newly discovered sulphide zone, which sits under the previously defined oxide zone on the Sierra Mojada project in northern Mexico.

Results from the one hole include 6m grading 802g/t silver, 5.87% zinc, 3.3% copper, and 0.54% lead.

Results from another hole include 2m grading 1,300g/t silver, 13.52% zinc, 3.87% copper, and 2.95% lead.


Zinc One Resources received results from the final batch of surface and pit samples at its Bongará zinc project in north-central Peru.

The program included a total of 446 samples from historic pits and surface channel samples from the Bongarita, Mina Chica, Mina Grande Sur, and Mina Grande Norte areas.

The company reported the Mina Grande Norte sample results. Highlights from the program include 5m of 43.9% zinc from one exploration pit and 5m of 29.5% zinc from another exploration pit.


Panoro Minerals announced the beginning of a drilling program at the porphyry copper-gold-silver Cotabambas project in Peru.

Two diamond drill rigs are being moved with drilling expected to begin on February 22, the company announced in a press release.

The 2018 drilling program will begin at the Maria Jose and Petra-David targets at Cluster 1 and continue until April with 5,000m of drilling budgeted. The drilling program will then expand into the Chaupec Skarn Target in Cluster 2 in August with an additional 5,000m budgeted for completion by the end of 2018.
