Ecuadorian state hydrocarbons maritime transporter Flopec has awarded the contract to build a marine terminal for its LPG project in Monteverde, Santa Elena province.
The winner is Consorcio Belfi-Ciport with a bid of US$37.9mn, according to a Flopec resolution.
The reference price for the 540-day contract was US$34.8mn.
Offers from Consorcio Construccion Terminal Maritimo Monteverde (US$30.4mn), Consorcio Ripconciv-Geofundaciones y Asociados (US$38.2mn) and Padko (US$33.4mn) did not meet bidding requirements.
