Brazil's southern region development bank BRDE has opened the bidding process on a project to integrate its administrative and client contact systems, according to a report published on the bank's website.
BRDE plans to close the contract - with a 35mn-real (US$21mn) budget - by May or June. The deal will involve implementation of a system, as well as consulting and added services.
The ultimate solution, BRDE said, will integrate all of the bank's internal processes, such as accounting, finance and human resources, and create email and online banking options for clients.
BRDE expects the project to increase the bank's portfolio of 40,000 clients.
