IBM (NYSE: IBM) has launched a financing program aimed at helping Chilean SMEs access new technology to achieve sustainable growth, the company said in a statement.
Under IBM's Rapid online Financing program, Chilean SMEs from all vertical industries will have access to financing for transactions from US$5,000 to US$300,000 at preferential interest rates and with flexible options.
In addition, the credit analysis of customers can be done in up to 48 hours.
The plans offered include equipment rentals; complete financing of a project - comprising services, consulting, cloud computing solutions and infrastructure investments, as well as hardware and software; and leasing, among others.
The company may also provide financing for non-IBM technology, although projects must have a 20% minimum of IBM technology to be eligible for consideration.
IBM Global Financing currently manages more than US$36bn in assets and has over 125,000 customers in more than 55 countries.
