Top brass from Russian software and IT services company Softline International will meet with Argentine government officials and local IT companies during the week beginning February 28, Softline International said in a release.

Company CEO Ruslan Belousov will seek closer ties with government representatives, as well as new partner companies in the local market.

Argentine software provider Sistemas Bejerman has signed up several new clients, the company said in a statement.

New customers include mining company Minera Argenta, tourism company Turisur, components manufacturer Lineartec and gasoline distributor Zona Común.


SAP (NYSE: SAP) will host the SAP Forum México event on March 15-16, the company said in a statement.

The event will feature the launch of the solution SAP Social Services Management for Public Sector, which aims to streamline government workflows and processes.

SAP Forum México will take place in Mexico City.


The Latin American division of Slovakian antivirus and security software developer Eset has launched a competition for university students, the company said in a release.

The University Prize 2011 will reward the author of the best antivirus research with a trip to the Virus Bulletin 2011 Conference, which will take place in Barcelona on October 5-7.
