Segware grows revenues 35% in 2010, anticipates additional 50% in 2011

Brazilian security software developer Segware grew revenues 35% in 2010 and expects to increase them by an additional 50% in 2011, the company said in a statement without providing hard figures.

More than 200 new clients last year adopted Segware solutions, which allow subscribers to monitor security alarms within their networks. Segware's total portfolio now exceeds 1,000 customers with some 500,000 users.

In 2011, Segware intends to focus on introducing new products with an emphasis on mobility and expanding internationally, the company said.
