Spamina aims to reinforce business locally

Thursday, January 6, 2011

Email security solutions manufacturer Spamina will look to grow its business in Chile, offering its channels a cloud-based email service and firewall, according to a press release from the company.

Spamina has appointed the company's Latin American sales director, Luis Tapia, to guide the expansion in Chile. Tapia will be in charge of bringing sales channels and managed service providers onboard, while bringing the cloud-based email security solutions to public and private companies in Chile.

According to Tapia, Chilean companies are already very conscious of the security risks with corporate email, which makes the country one of the more lucrative markets for Spamina. Currently, most firms in Chile have security solutions specific to email, instead of comprehensive and integrative solutions that Spamina offers, Tapia said.
