Brazil's state company for the development of the São Francisco and Parnaíba valleys, Codevasf, has launched three tenders worth a total 15.5mn reais (US$8.78mn) in the states of Pernambuco, Minas Gerais and Bahia.
The first tender, priced at 9.90mn reais, entails providing technical support and project supervision for work in northeastern state Pernambuco. The awardee will support the construction of sewerage systems in the municipalities of Araripina and Ouricuri.

The company also called a consultancy tender valued at 3.26mn reais to provide technical support and management for contracts and social actions in the southeastern state of Minas Gerais. The work falls under the Água para Todos (water for everyone) national potable water supply program.

Finally, Codevasf launched a 2.33mn-real tender that involves drilling and installing 50 wells to serve small rural communities. Work will take place in various municipalities throughout northeastern state Bahia.
